What kind of data do we collect?

In order to improve your experience, we will ask for information such as your email, a password generated for login, or your name and the company you work for once you have created an account. This information may be used to send you messages in order to provide you with the best onboarding and customer support. These details will also be used on your invoices.

When you upgrade from a free trial to a paying customer, we will collect your payment information and send it to our provider Stripe, Inc. We will never save or store any of your payment information in a database or on our servers. Only our payment processor Stripe, Inc will save and collect that information.

When you choose to subscribe to a newsletter from one of our public websites or any other website related to Leadwick’s services, we collect your email address (e.g blog, product or updates).

Contact information for you: We (or ‘Leadwick’) may collect your email when you use our services in order to send you emails, newsletters, or notifications about our services.

Logging and event history: Once you become a Leadwick user, we will track your usage and log any requests you make to our service. All logs captured by (‘Leadwick’) may contain IP addresses, geolocation information, browser type, computer type, country, and so on. The logs are saved and accessible for one month before being backed up to our service provider, Amazon Web Services Inc. These logs will be saved for one year (‘One year’) and will be automatically deleted after that time.

What happens to your personal information?

Leadwick collects your personal data fairly and lawfully as a data controller, in accordance with any applicable law (including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016), our Terms of Service, and any Data Processing Agreement. How do we secure your data?

We take data security very seriously and strive to keep our methods up to date at all times. Our Security Policy goes into greater detail about the steps we take to keep data safe. Your data is stored in maximum-security data centres spread across multiple locations, which are kept to the highest security standards and are guarded 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We use the most advanced encryption standard available (AES). Your data is much safer in HIPAA-compliant data centres than it would be in your office on a single client-side server.

Retention:

Leadwick will retain personal information in such a way that you can be identified only for as long as necessary for processing activities. Leadwick will apply the same retention policy to all users and contacts, regardless of where they live, and will adhere to the reasonable mandatory retention period of 7 years as of the Processing Date.

Please keep in mind that we may keep the information we collect for as long as necessary to provide the Services, meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you want to remove existing Business Profiles from our servers, or if you don’t want us to share your Business Profiles with our Users, vendors, or business partners, please fill out the form below. In this case, we will not use or disclose your Business Profiles any longer.

Children’s Privacy:

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (referred to as “Children”).

We do not collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Please contact us if you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your Children have provided us with Personal Information. If we discover that we have collected Personal Information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent, we take immediate steps to remove that information from our servers.

All of Your Company’s data processors have been verified to be GDPR-compliant (Cloudflare, OVH, Stripe). All of Leadwick’s data is stored on servers in the European Union. OVH hosts the servers (a french-based company).

Due to the nature of the service, Leadwick does not provide online services to children (business-to-business). As a result, we did not consider it relevant to control the age of users signing up for services.
